Although hidden away in the corner of a shopping center, Pacific Table truly is a gem of a restaurant. We stumbled upon this place after my husband finished test driving his dream car - The Tesla! Pacific Table is located in University Park Village in Fort Worth and I'm so glad we decided to check it out.
I could tell we had picked a good one as soon as we opened the doors. We were greeted by trendy music that made you want to sing along and a vibe that was ultra cool. My kids loved the gigantic airplanes hanging from the ceiling.
The food was not disappointing. It was right on par with everything else. My husband and oldest son loved the Tiger Shrimp Appetizer they shared. My two boys had the Kid's Fish and Chips and the Kid's Fried Shrimp. Both enjoyed their meals very much. For those non-fish lovers out there, I highly recommend the French Dip. I loved it!
Everything was awesome until... our server seemed to forget about us. Yes, we were there at that weird time between lunch and dinner, but we were one of two tables at one point. I totally understand that servers have their side work that they have to do at the end of their shift, but come on! Check on us every once in a while. We have kids. Two kids. We somehow made them sit through a meal at a restaurant without being wild or crazy or getting up, but the clock is ticking. We may want dessert or coffee, but we cannot get these things if no one comes by to ask us. And by the time our server finally did come by, it was too late. Even I was tired of waiting at that point. Had we not been forgotten, Pacific Table would have gotten a perfect 5 stars in my book. Instead, they receive only 4. I would like to go back one day to try the dessert.
