The Latin Pig's neon lights shine brightly in it's Plano strip mall location on a early Saturday evening. It's just past 5:30 and there's already a wait, but it doesn't take long for us to get seated. I was happy to see a variety of choices on the children's menu and the kid's portions are huge! A favorite of mine on the regular menu is the Ropa Vieja. The brisket is tender and sweet. It has the right combination of peppers and onions, and I love that you get to choose your own rice. It is so good. But don't eat too much, you will also want to save room for dessert. The pastries are so soft and light and served warm. Yum. The food tastes pretty authentic to me, so until I get the chance to go on vacation and try the "real" thing, I'll be coming back here again!
