Another new restaurant in Southlake to try! Yea!
I thought I had given Thailicious enough time to work out all their problems of being new by waiting a few weeks before trying them out, but I was wrong. I really try hard not to judge too hard in the beginning, but the serving staff needs some serious training ASAP.
Not one person came by to ask us how our meal was or refilled our water. No one came by to even give us the check. It was as if we were forgotten. It was only after I left my husband all alone at the table to use the restroom that my husband was asked if he needed anything. That is how he was able to finally get the check and my iced tea I had ordered before the meal.
Hopefully, Thailicious will train their servers better and get past this because their food is absolutely amazing. They have a great lunch special that includes iced tea, appetizer (summer roll, egg roll, or pot sticker), salad, and your choice of entree. I got the lemon dressing on my salad and have since become obsessed with lemon dressing. It is light and refreshing and yummy!
Their food is on the spicy side. I ordered Level 1 Spicy thinking it wouldn't be spicy at all, but it had a little kick to it. My husband ordered Level 3 Spicy and said it was Spicy. He wouldn't go any hotter, but he probably would get the same level again. I might spice mine up to a Level 2. I like a little spice; I just knew the kiddos would want to try some of my leftovers when they got home from school.
We will definitely be back here. It will be a while before we dine inside again, but we loved the food so much, we will be ordering to go!
