Yum! Yum! Yum! I thought this was going to be just another let down after finding out that the restaurant was out of the liquor needed for both of their specialty drinks. But the amazing food and service quickly changed my mind.
Caprese Salad
The Caprese Salad was light and fresh and the dressing had a sweetness to it that was just perfect. I could have eaten the entire thing all by myself.
The Calamari was probably one of the best I have ever had. I was loving the spicy pickled cauliflower, carrots, and pickles mixed throughout. The marinara sauce had me wanting to change my order to some kind of pasta. Yes, it was that good. We will be getting the Calamari again and soon!
Kid's Pizza
I would love to tell you more about the food, but by the time our actual meal came, I was stuffed. The portion sizes are huge at DeVivo Bros. The kids both got kids' pizzas. They were the perfect size for an adult. The kids are going to be eating pizza for the next few days! A very nice hostess saw this and recommended the kids split a pizza next time. She said that the restaurant would even do half cheese - half pepperoni for us (cause of course our kids never want the same thing!).
I'm looking forward to my next meal at DeVivo Bros. I'll try not to fill up on all the delicious apps!
