I thought I found fried chicken heaven when I found Babe's, but as it turns out you can always find something better in Southlake!
Their fried chicken is the best I've had to date. There is some kind of seasoning on the skin that makes it extra good. But beware, this seasoning only comes on the fried chicken. If you get the chicken strips, you will be disappointed as they lack the same delicious flavor.
And lets not forget about those yummy waffles. I recommend eating these first while your chicken cools and your waffle is still crispy.
The kid's menu is a bit surprising. For a chicken and waffle place, there isn't one chicken or waffle on the kid's menu. Strange, don't you think? To get around this, my older son just orders an adult meal while the little one just orders from the "add on" section. The little guy is fine with just a piece of chicken and a few bites of someone else's waffles. I do wish Lo-Lo's had a option for kids that included one drum stick and half a waffle. That would be perfect!
