We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, so we decided to splurge when our oldest was recognized academically for a project he did in school. Unfortunately for him and my other son, we discovered Il Calabrese, although a nice restaurant, is not the best choice for kids.
Their Shirley Temples were cherry-less. A kids’ menu was non-existent. The Margarita Pizza shared by the kids was drenched in oil. Not so great a night.

Mom and Dad had a completely different experience. The Calamari was cooked to perfection and the green sauce that came with it was amazing! The Gorgonzola Steak Salad is definitely worth going back for and my husband loved his Orchetta.

We will be back for a visit, but it will be without the kids for date-night only! And while will be sure not to order the pizza, we will be ordering their tasty adult beverages!
