From New Hampshire to South Carolina, the East Coast is blessed with the fine cookings of Burtons Grill. Our family checked out the one in Connecticut while visiting family there.
Now while this restaurant is more on the upscale side, we felt perfectly comfortable bringing our children (5 and 9) there and we weren't the only ones to do so. The restaurant staff is very friendly toward children and there is a fabulous children's menu.
The food was amazing. I ordered the appetizer Firecracker Shrimp as my meal and it was just the perfect amount. It was spicy without being overwhelming. Everyone else loved what they had. And the kids were especially happy with what they chose to eat.
I wish all kid's meals came out looking like the ones at Burtons Grill. My kids ordered fish with a couple of sides and so they got what they asked for, a fairly balanced meal- not a tiny piece of fish buried under a heaping pile of fries. So thank you Burtons Grill for not killing my children with a whole mass of french fries.
The Dallas/Ft. Worth area could sure use a restaurant like yours in the area. Come check us out!
