If it wasn't for a friend of ours, we would have never discovered this gem of a restaurant. If you ever find yourself in Addison, I highly suggest you stop on by Table 13. You will love it! This would be on our regular rotation if it weren't so far away.
We went a while back and they had a jazz singer which was a nice touch. I always like live entertainment. The white table cloths made me question how kid friendly this place was, but I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here (although I bring them just about everywhere!). This was one of those nights that it was just me and the hubby - kid-free!
I think we had the best server in the restaurant (at the very least, he was the most knowledgeable). He knew everything to do about wine. We had a mini-lesson about Oregon Wine and the roots and the soil. It was actually quite interesting. We ended up choosing a Pino Noir, and yes, I loved it!
I started with the Lobster Bisque. The sauce had a great flavor and was nice and thick, but it was lacking lobster. For the main course, I had Beef Wellington. It was very good, but after seeing my husband's Bone-in Filet, I wanted to trade. Unfortunately, no deal! My husband let me try a few delicious bites and then I was cut off. Next time I know what I am ordering!
