Like most families, we enjoyed a Mother's Day Brunch this past Sunday. We chose Mash'd cause they were one of the few places that could accommodate 13 people on a busy holiday. And I was quite pleased they gave us two servers to help move service along. It also kept those mimosas flowing which is kind of important on Mother's Day!

Another restaurant bites the dust big time! At one time, no one could beat Lo Lo's tasty, crispy fried chicken. I don't know what their secret is to seasoning the skin, but I wish I did. But fried chicken alone is not enough to keep me coming back.

The entire goal of writing this blog is to discover those restaurants with that perfect combination of great food and drinks, warm-friendly service, and a cool vibe that most national chains just aren't capable of providing.
